Ahmedabad, July 10: Vedic astrology researcher Dr. Jignesh Jani has shared his observations on the current international environment through the perspective of traditional Vedic astrology, stating that many practitioners symbolically interpret the present planetary alignments as reflecting a period of heightened global uncertainty, geopolitical change, and economic volatility. He emphasized that these interpretations are rooted in traditional astrological principles and should not be considered scientifically established predictions of world events.
According to Dr. Jani, the ongoing Mars–Rahu conjunction, traditionally known as Angarak Yoga, has long been associated in Vedic astrology with assertive energy, strategic competition, military preparedness, and periods of heightened international activity. He also referred to the Saturn–Neptune alignment, which many astrological traditions interpret as symbolizing institutional restructuring, ideological shifts, changing global alliances, and the emergence of new geopolitical dynamics.
Dr. Jani explained that Jupiter, regarded in Vedic astrology as the planet of wisdom, justice, ethics, and diplomacy, is considered by many astrologers to be a balancing influence during uncertain times. Its symbolic role, he said, encourages responsible leadership, peaceful negotiations, and constructive dialogue among nations.
While discussing current global developments, Dr. Jani noted that geopolitical events are influenced by numerous interconnected factors, including diplomacy, economic policies, technological advancement, security concerns, and international cooperation. He emphasized that astrology provides a symbolic framework for reflection rather than evidence-based forecasts of specific political or military outcomes.
“Vedic astrology encourages us to reflect on broader collective cycles, but it does not determine the future,” Dr. Jani said. “The direction of world affairs depends on the decisions of governments, international institutions, and global leaders committed to diplomacy and peaceful conflict resolution.”
Concluding his remarks, Dr. Jani encouraged readers to distinguish between traditional astrological beliefs and factual geopolitical analysis. He expressed hope that responsible leadership, mutual understanding, and international cooperation will continue to guide nations toward lasting peace, stability, and sustainable global development despite ongoing global challenges.
